The Wardening team are here for your safety, wellbeing, and discipline – but also to make sure that the Hall runs smoothly and you have an enjoyable first year at university.
The wardens are here for you and because of you, so don’t hesitate to approach anyone of us for help or when you see us in the hall.
What exactly are the Wardens here for? The Wardens act as your first port of call for help and support for any matters relating to life in halls and to university life in general. We are also in charge of making sure the hall environment is conducive to study and living, and so will make sure that Pembridge is sufficiently clean and quiet, particularly during night time. Together with the Hall Seniors, we organise social activities and events to help you to settle in, get to know one another and have fun in halls.
The wardens are on call every evening from 18:00 – 08:00 and throughout the weekend and holidays. Make sure that the duty number and email are in your address book.Duty phone: 07590 250 422 Duty E-mail
Weekday Warden’s Surgery. Each weekday during term-time we will be available in the Warden’s office to have a chat and to hand out the post 19.00-19.30. You can use this time to talk to us about any issues you might have.
There is also a lot of other support available at Imperial College for many of the problems you may encounter – please have a look at the Support page. Remember that there are a lot of options and a lot of people to help you. Nothing is too big, or too small. Please do not suffer in silence: tell someone if there is an issue. We want you to succeed and are here to help you.

Paola graduated as a Chemical Engineer in Mexico. She is now a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial, working on Carbon Capture as one of the potential solutions to climate change. Gregor — SubwardenGregor is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry, working on detecting carbon monoxide in cancer cells. This is his seventh year at Imperial, so he got the chance to explore the city and is always happy to help others do the same. He loves music, cycling, long random walks and spends more time than he cares to admit on Netflix and YouTube. He is also very friendly and will be happy to help you out with any problems you encounter during your time here.
Roxi — Subwarden
Hi! My name is Roxana (most people call me Roxi) and I am a fourth-year Biomedical Engineering student from Romania. I had an amazing time in Pembridge during the last three years and that made me want to come back and try to make the experience as exciting for you as it was for me. I love swimming so sometimes, in my free time, I go to the pool. I also enjoy walking around and exploring London. If you need any help or just someone to explore the city with feel free to knock on my door or text me. I am looking forward to meeting you.
