Hall Seniors

These are Imperial undergraduate students who loved halls so much they decided to come back for another year. They organise events, answer questions and ensure that settling in and having fun in your first year is as easy as possible.

Boshi

Hello everyone! My name is Boshi, and I am a fourth-year Mathematics (Applied) student from China (Northeast). I was living in Pembridge in my first and second year, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I had a great experience at Pembridge and my enthusiasm encourages me to come back to help new students in my final year. As a fresher, you can feel free to ask me any kinds of questions such as study or life. In my spare time, I enjoy watching West Ham matches in London Stadium and playing pool in the games room. I’m sure this year will be a wonderful year for your life at Imperial! Good luck and have fun!

Kathleen

Hi everyone! I’m Kathleen, studying towards a Biochemistry degree. I’m from Indonesia, born in the small city of Semarang but raised in the capital Jakarta. I stayed at Pembridge for the latter half of my first year at Imperial and like many, fell in love with the background setting of Notting Hill. It’s a truly amazing spot for a huge foodie like myself – every corner you turn, there’s bound to be a delicious brunch spot or a chill café. One of my favourite coffee shops around is just down the street – the Notting Hill Coffee Project.

I love to dance for fun, read dystopian novels and cook/bake pretty frequently. If you stop by the kitchen, you’ll most likely find me whisking something up. Don’t feel shy to ask to try a particular treat I’m making! And if you’re searching for a brunch/dinner partner around Notting Hill or further, feel free to knock on my door.

Laurene

Hello everyone and welcome to Pembridge!

I’m Laurene, a second year geophysics student. I lived in Pembridge for most of my first year and I especially enjoyed the area, such as Hyde Park just a few minutes away. A little about me: I enjoy running, climbing, table tennis, and most sports really. You might also find me cooking and baking in the kitchen. First year can be stressful at times, so don’t hesitate to ask me if you need any help!

Iasonas

Hi, I’m Iasonas! Or Jason, whatever you prefer. I was born in Boston in the US but spent most of my life in Cyprus. I’m entering my second year studying Civil Engineering and I’ve returned to Pembridge as a hall senior because one year was just not enough! Pembridge is a small, close-knit community of warm, open people, perfectly located for discovering the best spots in London. I enjoy cycling and playing games like ping pong or pool in the common room. Feel free to ask me anything about the hall, uni or London or for a helping hand. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Christelle

Hi everyone I’m Christelle. I’m a second-year Physics student, and I lived at Pembridge last year as a Fresher. I had such a great time and felt at home away from home, so I want you all to feel the same way this coming year. I’m always open to talk or go out, so feel free to come knocking on my door at G20. My hobbies are everything from sleeping in to hiking, so I’m really open to doing anything fun together. Hope you have a nice year, and welcome to the Pembridge family !!
