Hall Seniors

These are Imperial undergraduate students who loved halls so much they decided to come back for another year. They organise events, answer questions and ensure that settling in and having fun in your first year is as easy as possible.

Hello everyone! My name is Boshi, and I am a second-year Mathematics(Applied) student from China(Northeast). Last year I was living in Pembridge, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I had a great experience at Pembridge and my enthusiasm encourages me to come back to help new students. As a fresher, you can just feel free to ask me questions. In my spare time, I enjoy watching West Ham matches in London Stadium and playing pool in the game room.

Hello! Welcome to the Pembridge family! I’m Thomas, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student. My first year at Pembridge has been absolutely awesome, and I hope I’ll make this time the best for you as well. As an introduction, I was born in Mother China and grew up in South Africa, the land of the wild, which could partially explain my personality: a mixture of reservedness and wildness. My hobbies include: running, cycling, swimming, too much guitar, and helping people out. You’ll most likely find me jamming the guitar in the kitchen, or anywhere really. If you need any help with anything, please do not hesitate to ask! I’ll be more than happy to assist in any way possible. Have fun! 🙂

This is Alex. He is a third-year EEE student, curious about any scientific field (kind of a geek). He comes from Romania, a country with unique traditions and culinary style. While he is not tinkering on some weird project, you can find him stargazing( surely not in London), tinkering on a project, or even flying a drone( safely). Travelling is another passion of his, so he can’t wait to find people with whom to visit the UK: both the mainstream and the less known, but still amazing, places. From time to time, he can be found cooking a large portion of food without following any real recipe( sometimes it turns delicious, other times it is a terrible fail). He is here to make your transition to university as smooth as possible, so don’t hesitate to ask any questions!

Hello, my name is Anca and I am a third-year Biology student from Romania. I lived in Pembridge in the first year of my degree and enjoyed it so much that I came back to be a hall senior this year. I love visiting art galleries and museums and taking long strolls through the park, so hit me up if you want to do any of these and need company. If you need any help or have a question feel free to come to me and I will do my best to help you. I hope you will have an amazing time at Pembridge. See you in October!

Hi! My name is Roxana (most people call me Roxi) and I am a third-year Biomedical Engineering student from Romania. I had an amazing time in Pembridge during the last two years and that made me want to come back and try to make the experience as exciting for you as it was for me. I love swimming so sometimes, in my free time, I go to the pool. I also enjoy walking around and exploring London. If you need any help or just someone to explore the city with feel free to knock on my door or text me. I am looking forward to meeting you
